It goes without saying that Dan Henderson is a pioneer in the sport of MMA.  The former wrestler turned two-division Pride champion and perennial UFC title contender made waves last year when he eschewed the UFC to sign as a free agent with Strikeforce.  Unfortunately, Henderson’s debut in April against Jake Shields did not go as plan as the veteran dropped a decision to now UFC welterweight contender Shields.

Henderson’s loss to Shields was his first since 2008.  This Saturday he looks to get his Strikeforce career back on track when he faces Babalu Sobral in the main event of Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Sobral in St. Louis.  Below, the man we know as “Hendo,” breaks down his loss to Shields and sheds some light on his illustrious ten-year career.
